Head of Operations - Events

Location: Head Office, Coventry Salary: Up to 60K Working Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days out of 7) Are you ready to take the lead in delivering world-class events? Our client is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to join their fast-paced team and oversee complex, multi-venue event plans across the UK, from London to Burnley (and everywhere in between!). Whether it’s Premier League football matches or high-profile events like Silverstone F1 and summer festivals, you’ll be at the forefront, ensuring smooth operations from traffic management to security and stewarding. What You'll Do: Manage and mentor a talented operations team Lead service lines like Event Traffic Management, SIA Security, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation, and Event Parking Create event packs, including risk assessments and crowd management plans Coordinate resources and equipment, managing company stock, vehicles, and uniforms Drive innovation in event operations and attend industry events like FSOA & SGSA Work closely with HR to handle staffing, recruitment, and welfare for a large workforce Ensure compliance with British Standards, legal requirements, and industry guidelines What You’ll Bring: 5+ years’ experience in an operational/events environment Proven leadership with a track record of coaching and mentoring teams Willingness to go above and beyond to support the company’s growth Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS applications with attention to detail A UK Driving Licence (extensive travel required) Desirable qualifications: L4 Spectator Safety, SIA DS Licence, Lantra 12D M6 Are you ready to be part of a team where Quality, Teamwork, and Commitment are at the core of everything they do?
