Teaching Assistant SEN School Merton Role: Teaching Assistant Location: Merton Salary: £95 - £110 per day (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 16:30) Job Type: Full Time, Long Term Start Date: ASAP Are you outgoing, confident, and full of energy? We are looking for a proactive individual to join our dedicated team of Teachers, Therapists, and Teaching Assistants as soon as possible. Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities: Provide ad-hoc or dedicated 1-1 support to specific children and whole-class support in lessons. Maintain learning environments, assist with administration, and support challenging behaviour management. Embrace new challenges daily, demonstrating your supportive skills as a Teaching Assistant. Confident, enthusiastic, and passionate about learning. Proficient in English (clear written and spoken) and numeracy skills. Knowledgeable and experienced in behaviour management. Able to build strong relationships with children, teachers, parents, and carers. Experienced in working with children with Special Education Needs (SEN), particularly those on the Autism Spectrum. Capable of managing small groups of children with complex social communication needs. Skilled in promoting positive behaviour in a nurturing environment.
