Production Operative

We are recruiting a Production Operative to join our Bridgwater site. We are a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK. Bridgwater is our largest plant. £29,461.75pa  (£13.48ph) 4 on 4 off Shift pattern –2 Days, 2 Nights 4 off – 12 hours shifts Day Shifts: 06:00 to 18:00 / 06:30 to 18:30 /07:00 to 19:00 Night Shifts: 18:00 to 06:00 / 18:30 to 06:30 /19:00 to 07:00 22 days holiday (264 hours over the year) Benefits: Enhanced 4% Pension, Free Drinks & Ice pops, onsite parking, Wellbeing & counselling services & Staff Shop.  As a Production Operative, you will join the production team where you will be working on a production line, overseeing our beverage filling machine.  Reporting to the Shift Manager you will work as a team to fulfil the day-to-day production targets. NO MACHINE EXPERIENCE - But you have worked in an FMCG or Manufacturing site ……you can still join us. We will provide all the training and get you up to speed in the first 6 months. Production Operative:  Key responsibilities: Operating equipment/machinery and undertaking fault finding, changeovers including CIP where relevant, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities. Management of Raw Materials in accordance with FIFO and Storage Procedures. Reporting any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and supporting corrective action activities. Working as a key member of a production team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required. Ability to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards. Participating in traceability exercises, product trials, and site audits/visits Supporting the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards  Production Operative:  skills & attributes: Experience of working Machines within an FMCG environment Ability to problem solve, team player & a keen eye for detail.
