Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out both scheduled and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems to ensure maximum production efficiency.
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring all safety and technical standards are met.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to maintain smooth and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain and update the asset and maintenance tracking systems.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (essential).
- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
- Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Experience with PLC systems, motor controls, and robotics is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
