This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a real difference in the lives of students, fostering a love of learning and a deep understanding of the English language.What You'll Do: Craft and deliver captivating English lessons for students across various age groups (potentially KS3, KS4 and/or KS5). Cultivate a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, effective communication, and a passion for literature. Play a vital role in curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with national standards and ignites student interest. Guide and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential. Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of your students, fostering a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve the English curriculum. Who You Are: A qualified teacher with QTS and a specialism in English. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a secondary school setting, with a proven track record of success. Possess an in-depth knowledge of the English language and a passion for literature that sparks curiosity in students. Adept at creating engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. A strong believer in fostering a love of reading and writing in students. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
