Steel Operative (Nights)

Our client based in the Oldbury area are currently looking for a number of Steel Operatives nights to join their growing team due to an increase in orders. Duties/Requirements: Working at the end of a rolling mill Packing steel ready for despatch Quality checking products Previous experience of working within a steel environment would be beneficial Please note that there may be an opportunity to learn other jobs in the long term. Hours: 6pm – 4:30am Monday – Wednesday 6pm – 1am Thursday Pay: £11.85 per hour with £128.63 shift allowance per week Equates to £14.98 Per Hour You will be guaranteed a pay rise after completing 12 weeks, this rate will depend on your skill set and the job that you’re doing at that given time This is a long term role with the potential of a permanent contract after 12 weeks
