KS1 Teaching Assistant position This KS1 Teaching Assistant position is a great opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who’s confident in working in KS1. There is no specific qualification needed for this KS1 Teaching Assistant position, however Special Educational Needs experience is preferred. This role is supporting a pupil in year 1 that has autism. You will be supporting the pupil on a 1:1 basis to ensure they’re getting on with their work, as well as not distracting other members of the class.
