Senior Quantity Surveyor

Leading main contracting organisation seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC contract knowledge to join them on a contract basis in Cambridge,

This contract role is predominantly site-based, 3 days a week, to enable coordination and alignment with the site team. You will work on the delivery of an 8million project which is due to complete in June 2025.

• Overseeing the commercial delivery of the project
• Managing site-based commercial activities to ensure successful project delivery
• Handling subcontractor procurement processes from start to final account
• Executing NEC change management processes autonomously
• Coordinating project CVRs and reporting with profit take and revenue recognition
• Managing upstream change from Early Warning Notices to Implementation
• Supporting the Quantity Surveyor with CVR/reporting processes where necessary

• Extensive experience in quantity surveying working for a main contractor
• Strong understanding and experience with NEC contracts
• Proficient in end-to-end subcontractor management
• Competency in CVR/reporting processes
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
