Project Manager - Construction & Facilities

Our client, a distinguished name in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a talented Project Manager for Construction & Facilities projects. This role is a contract position located in Broad Oak with hybrid working arrangements available. • Overseeing the delivery of construction and facilities projects, including building refurbishments and new builds
• Ensuring projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Managing project stakeholders and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Conducting risk management and implementing mitigation strategies where necessary
• Preparing and presenting project progress reports
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health & safety legislation and CDM Regulations
• Implementing value engineering and pragmatic problem-solving approaches
• Coordinating with various internal teams and external contractors

• Experience in project management within the engineering or construction industry
• Understanding of project delivery methodologies and best practices
• Familiarity with relevant health & safety legislation, including CDM Regulations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is desirable
• Possessing or working towards formal project management qualifications (APM, PRINCE2, etc.) is advantageous
• SHE qualifications like IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Construction Certificate are desirable
