We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our team within Vistry Devon South West, at our Exeter office. As our Technical Administrator, you will work within the Technical team to provide a consistent and timely service to the development teams by ensuring that project information/drawings/documentation is monitored, managed, communicated, filed and retrievable in accordance with the businesses Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

Knowledge and understanding of the Document Control process at operational level is vital
Proven experience of carrying out a similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise and co-ordinate activities between departments
Great attention to detail
Prioritise workload when managing multiple contracts / tasks
To have a positive and flexible approach to work, integrate with the existing team and provide support and guidance to others when required
Desirable -
Knowledge of other DC systems
HNC in Computer Science, Business Administration or similar
Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and documents

Provide administrative support to the Technical Director and Senior Management Team.
Monitor and maintain Consultancy Appointments, Collateral warranties and insurances as required.
Monitor and maintain Technical Fee Sheets, Purchase Orders, and invoices in line with Project specific and overall budgets.
Attend internal Business and Departmental meetings to ensure the smooth handover of information to/from departments, ensuring documentation follows the Vistry Life of Site and Gateway Approvals policies and procedures.
Work with internal procedures, guidance and forms contained within the corporate Business Management System (BMS).
To be responsible for the management of documents for multiple projects, ensuring Project Folders are created/maintained, and documents are uploaded in an accurate and timely manner.
Acting as a regional champion and SME for document maintenance and control (utilizing ViewPoint, SharePoint, MSTeams channels etc.)
Liaise with Technical colleagues to monitor, issue and maintain Project and Client documents, drawings, reports and information etc.
Ensure all drawings / documentation are controlled and maintained in a methodical manner, and documentation is complete and maintained prior to internal or external audits.
Maintain knowledge and understanding of the DC process at operational level, and manage user accounts and permissions, and provide support for internal and external users regarding system issues.
Ensure external documentation is identified and distributed as agreed.
Carry out quality assurance checks on all information uploaded, and complete monthly reports as required.
Collate drawings and information for management and operational meetings as and when appropriate.
