Engineering manager

A global automotive component manufacturer requires a Launch and Engineering Manager to manage the launch, engineering, maintenance departments and provide support with all launch related activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar level role in a mass production first tier automotive environment. Commutable from: Liverpool, Halewood, Chester, Birkenhead, St Helens, Warrington, Runcorn, Knowsley Package: £75,000 - £80,000 p.a. +Car Allowance +Bonus +Enhanced pension +family Bupa Suitable for: Engineering Manager, General Manager, AGM, Lead Engineer, Programme Manager The Role Reporting in to the AGM you will have the following duties: -Direct line management with 5 direct reports. -Accountability for project management of M.E projects to support the site development and the launch of automotive products. -Support customer launch meetings. The Person Educated to a minimum of HND level you will have the following experience: -Experience working in an automotive JIT environment. -Ability to liaise with people of all levels within and outside the business. -Experience in managing and delivering significant automotive Capex projects.
