JG196 – Plant Operator Location: Basingstoke Salary: £150 - £175 Per Day DOE Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Plant Operator. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, such as excavators Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators. Operate our 8t,14t, 16t & 20t excavator machines. Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Wear required PPE and ensure equipment is operated in line with safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, fuel consumption, maintenance logs, and daily operation reports. Help in the preparation of construction sites by moving earth, rock, or materials and levelling ground surfaces in line with project specifications. Skills and Qualifications: Valid license or certification for operating specific machinery (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent). A valid driver’s license. Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a construction setting. Location: Basingstoke Salary: £150 - £175 Per Day DOE
