Part-Time Accountant

Part-Time Accountant £32,000 to £35,000pa d.o.e pro rota, NN17 1QE, 25hrs per week Monday to Friday (flexible on hours to suit successful candidates availability), Permanent, Immediate Start Due to retirement and on site commercial development, a UK manufacturing site of a global organisation has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join them. You will provide financial support for the local site, reporting directly to the overseas company owner. Process all invoices for the site, including but not limited to goods received, company expenses, dealing with any queries related to them Day to day management of both Sales & Purchase Ledgers Providing financial support and guidance to Management team on site Updating and recording information for KPI reports Preparing monthly management accounts Ordering raw materials Undertake ad hoc projects of a financial nature for board Providing administration support to a small commercial teamWe would expect the successful Accountant to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of accountancy framework, and be commercially astute, posses excellent analytical skills, have a positive "can do" flexible attitude, and enjoy being part of the whole site team. You will be supported to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role if you have worked within an accountancy, finance controller or a management accountant position. You will be joining the UK manufacturing site for a family run global organisation that has been established for just shy of 50 years, and has an enviable reputation in their field of manufacturing. Working directly for the company owner and along side the sites general manager, this role offer variety on a daily basis.
