Our client, a reputable accountancy firm in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, is seeking a Mid-Level Accountant to join their vibrant team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual, either part-qualified or fully qualified, to work with a diverse range of clients and provide top-tier service. Main Duties & Responsibilities: * Overseeing the accounting records for a varied client base * Preparing Year-End Accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships * Compiling Management Accounts for multiple clients * Completing and submitting VAT Returns * Providing comprehensive bookkeeping services, with a focus on Xero and Hubdoc * Supporting with personal tax returns * Building and maintaining strong relationships through regular client interaction What We’re Looking For: * AAT Level 4 qualified or actively studying, with the goal of completing an Accountancy Qualification * Minimum 12 months of experience in a UK accountancy practice * Proficiency with accounting software, particularly Xero (preferred) * Strong experience in bookkeeping for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies * Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail * Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office * Ability to manage workload under pressure and meet deadlines * A collaborative, adaptable mindset with a proactive approach What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary based on experience * Study support to further your qualifications * Onsite parking * Company pension scheme * 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays * Early finish every Friday For IMMEDIATE consideration send your CV to Charlie at i2i recruitment today!
