Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Your new company Your new company has been in business for over 50 years, developing, building and maintaining the very best construction projects across the UK across a wide variety of sectors. Due to the natural growth of the company, they are recruiting an Assistant QS to join their Cardiff team for a high rise residential scheme. Your new role Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. Support the senior QS in managing project finances, including tracking costs and ensuring budget adherence. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to gather necessary information and resolve any issues. Prepare and submit regular reports on project status and financial performance. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and project documentation. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying Tier 1 Main Contractor working history. High rise project experience is preferred. Experience using JCT forms of contract. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant QS software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
