Level 2 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Liverpool, working full-time with potential for the role to continue until the end of the academic year. Responsibilities: Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons Assist with the planning and implementation of individual and group learning activities Work closely with children to provide support in their academic, social, and emotional development Contribute to maintaining a safe and positive learning environment Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and materials Supervise children during break and lunchtime Provide one-to-one or small group support for students where necessary Support children with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) as requiredRequirements: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Previous experience working with children in a school setting A caring, patient, and flexible approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well as part of a team A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children A DBS check will be requiredBenefits: Competitive pay rate of £12.82 - £14.60 per hour Opportunity to make a real difference in children's education and development Supportive and friendly school environment Potential for the role to continue until the end of the academic year
