Are you a despatch planner with experience of working in imports and exports post-Brexit seeking a role where working as part of a team will be responsible for the import and export of our unique products?
At PAM UK we are looking for an Exports and Imports Despatch Planner to work in our Supply Chain Team helping to deliver our customer promise by ensuring all activity is completed and compliant, thus avoiding delays and costs. You'll be based at our Ilkeston site and must be comfortable working independently as you'll be responsible for the despatch and import/export activity for the site.

This role is based fully on-site working Monday - Friday office hours. We can be flexible on start and finish times.
What we're looking for:
- Experience of exports post-Brexit
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
- Excellent negotiation skills in order to obtain the best quotes from carriers
- The ability to work flexibly to meet changing priorities and deadlines in an unpredictable and reactive environment
- Previous experience in a logistics planning or stockground role
What you will be doing:
- Planning product despatch taking into account efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Prepare export paperwork and liaise directly with customers
- Manage orders on the system and delegate physical picking to the stockground team
- Obtain quotes from hauliers for the best service for delivery, considering cost and lead times
- Ensure as a business we are compliant for all customs paperwork and regulations
