Stores Operative

Initial three month contract with a good chance of going permanent
Stores Operative Job Purpose:
To receive, handle and dispatch goods and products coming into and going out of the factories, ensuring operations are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Stores Operative Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all kitting and stock control
- Assist with packing of PCBA assemblies
- Goods inwards/outwards processing
- Moving stock, kits and assemblies across both factories
- Checking in free issue kits/parts
- Any other reasonable duties assigned by the Supply Chain Manager
Metrics:
- Understanding and striving to achieve both organisational and departmental KPIs when assigned and within the given timeframe
- Abide by all company rules and regulations including health and safety and associated training
- Committed to the continuous improvement of the department
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to the Supply Chain Manager
- Inventory management
Stores Operative Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Computer literate
- Experience with CRM/ERP system is advantageous
- Full Driving Licence preferred
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence is preferred but training can be given for the right candidate
Behavioural Competencies/Physical requirements:
- Manual Handling
- Physically fit and able to work 8 hours standing
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time-management skills
