We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Welfare Unit Engineer / Mechanic to join our clients team based out of their site in Manchester!
Our client is a leading supplier of welfare units across the north west and are looking to appoint another engineer to their team due to expansion.
What you'll be doing:
No two days are the same and you'll have a mixture of responsibilities which could range from the below:
Ensuring welfare units are to standard before customer delivery, including the checking of running lights, tyres and breaks
servicing running gear
Replacing parts as and when required
Fault finding, servicing and repairing diesel generators
Changing water heaters and pumps
Eco upgrading welfare units to include solar panels, inverters and 12v sockets
The role will see you based at our clients workshop in Manchester, however, you may be required to travel to clients sites to conduct any warranty work and may have to assist with the delivery and set up of welfare units as and when required.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Flexible working hours, you can start at 7am, 8am or 9am for example. As long as the work is done and you complete your 40 hours, our client doesn't mind the hours you start and finish!
Pay:
£38,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience.
Overtime may also be available, paid at an enhanced rate.
Experience required:
Previous experience as an engineer / mechanic working on mobile welfare units is essential.
