Academics have a range of fantastic opportunities for Teaching Assistants in the Southampton area. These roles will require the individual to support a class in their learning and development alongside teachers direction. In some cases you may need to support students one-to-one or in small groups. To be considered for a role as a Teaching Assistant in Southampton you need to be able to use your own initiative and confidently support students with their learning as well as doing what's best for their well being. You should be able to think outside the box, and adapt to situations when required. Be aware that this role may include behaviour management within the classroom during lessons.
