Role Overview:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery on construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that projects progress smoothly and meet our high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery, including excavators in accordance with safety regulations and operational guidelines.
- Conduct pre-operational checks to ensure machinery is in good working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate machinery use and site logistics.
- Follow project plans and specifications to execute tasks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and hours worked.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures on site.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in construction or a related field.
- Valid operator s license for heavy machinery (e.g., CPCS, NPORS) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and machinery operation.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
