Production Team Leader

Hales Group have a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join our Manufacturing client at their site in Harleston.

The purpose of the Team Leader role is to ensure that as part of production, you lead your team through all aspects to keep production running smoothly. As a Team Leader you will have previous manufacturing Team Leader experience, be able to give briefings, create presentations and be able to delegate authority in the workplace. You will have a customer focused attitude, confidence, be able to work with processes and have a friendly manner.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth running of the production process
• Making sure all products are produced to the required quality specifications and production output quantities are on target and on time.
• You will follow best practice to improve your area and team, using continuous improvement techniques, team training and leading improvement projects.
• You will be responsible for production in terms of management of staff, management of production and targets
• You will contribute to new business initiatives and projects, review and communicate the impact on manufacturing activities.
• Ensure rejected products are controlled and repaired following sites process and any scrap is recorded correctly.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with team members and other team leaders clearly communicating tasks, issues and handovers.
• You will play a key part in the team to assist in the induction process and training of all new production employees, ensuring that all safe system of work is always followed.
• Review stock supply on the line and ensure zero stock outs, make sure piece rates are correct and store data correctly following process and procedures.

£16.34 per hour

Hours:

This is a permanent role, on a 2.00pm till 10pm shift, with a 30 minute unpaid break = 37.5 hours
