Part time- Evening security officer Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 17:15- 21:00 Pay: £11.44 per hour Location: Peterborough, PE3 and PE2 Company Overview: Our customer is a forward-thinking privately-owned company who are a leading provider of professional integrated bespoke security and facilities management services, giving their clients a flexible and scalable approach to addressing their security and FM requirements in their businesses across an array of sectors including educational settings / student accommodation, healthcare, charitable, corporate / estate management, warehouse / distribution, social housing, utilities, shopping centres / retail parks. Duties Security Concierge: * Welcome and greet visitors with professionalism. * Maintain access control and keep accurate records of entry and exit. * Notify relevant personnel of visitor arrivals. * Answer phone calls and address inquiries promptly. * Maintain logbooks and registers to ensure compliance and accuracy. * Monitor visitors, ensuring they sign in/out as needed. * Assist with visitor requests and provide information as necessary. * Receive, process, and distribute mail deliveries. * Conduct regular patrols of the building to ensure safety and security. * Lock and unlock low barriers for deliveries. * Send emails to clients and assist with administrative tasks as required. Essential Skills and Experience: * Professional Appearance: Maintain a smart and professional demeanour to inspire confidence. * Customer Service Orientation: Exhibit outstanding customer service at all times. * Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication abilities. * Proactive Mindset: Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to resolving concerns. * SIA Licence: A valid SIA licence is essential for this role.
