Primary Engineer

Primary Engineer - Transmission & Distribution Projects (Outside IR35 Contract) We are looking for a seasoned Primary Engineer to take on pivotal roles in high-profile transmission and distribution projects. This contract position offers the flexibility of remote working, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within the UK. As a Primary Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions that enhance the reliability and efficiency of the electrical networks. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop primary engineering solutions for transmission and distribution projects. Collaborate with National Grid, SSE, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met. Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Provide technical support and guidance during project execution and commissioning. Participate in project meetings and liaise with stakeholders to communicate progress and resolve issues.
