They are looking to recruit for a Bookeeper to join their business. You'll be responsible for recording and maintaining financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, invoices, and payments.
Requirements:
- You must have experience of using Xero software.
Duties to include:
- Maintain Financial Records: Record and update financial transactions accurately.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices and payments, track outstanding bills and incoming payments.
- Reconcile Bank Statements: Ensure that bank statements match the company's financial records.
- Prepare Financial Reports: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with Payroll: Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Help prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Tax Preparation: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Maintain General Ledger: Ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded in the general ledger.
- Monitor Cash Flow: Track the company's cash flow and assist in managing cash reserves.
- Support Audits: Prepare documentation and assist during audits as needed.
