Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: Up to 60,00 p/a (dependent on experience)
Additional: Company vehicle or car allowance

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with prior exposure to large scale civils and infrastructure projects?
We have an exciting new opportunity with our client, a well-established civil engineering firm with national coverage.
They are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior QS to work within their northern team and work on flood alleviation and flood defence work schemes.
Key duties:
- Maximise profitability on contracts and monitoring contract costs against budgets
- Preparation of estimates
- Procurement of sub-contractors, including preparation of sub contract documents
- Assessment and certification of interim and final payments to subcontractors
- Preparation and agreeing main contract variations
- Assist in the preparation of documents for resolution of disputes including adjudications and arbitrations
The ideal candidate will have:
- Must have experience working on civil engineering schemes including Highways, Structures, River works and Flood Protection with a main contractor
- Experience as a Senior QS working with the NEC form of contract.
- Ambitious individual with great communication skills, who is confident with a flexible approach.
- Handle the financial and mathematical demands of the role by possessing impressive numeracy and IT skills.
- Experience as a SQS working with the NEC form of contract.
