Fire Door Carpenter

A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire door installers/engineers to join their team. You will be working on commercial projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. The works will be based across Leeds and will cover multiple areas, sites based across the UK so staying away will be required but is re-imbursed with an extra 1.5 hours pay when staying away as well as an overnight allowance for expenses. Regular overtime to boost earning potential Permanent PAY E role Fire door installations and remedial works to social housing properties across the midlands Full time, permanent role with company benefits package £39,995 Vehicle, fuel card, phone provided Opportunity for personal career development and the chance to become an accredited fire door engineer Roles and responsibilities Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work Liaise with customers and members of the general public The successful candidate will have: At least two years experience working with fire doors A strong background in carpentry and joinery NVQ or equivalent in carpentry Experience installing fire doors and frames Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames Experience working on social housing FRA contracts Full UK driving license These vacancies are for a quick start after a short interview process.
