Senior System Engineer (Prop Trading Desk)

Background: Our client is a leading Quant/Prop Trading Firm specializing in High-Frequency Trading, algorithm trading, and Market-making. You will work with brilliant minds from top universities (Oxford, Cambridge, etc) and firms (Citadel, Google, etc). Responsibilities: - Provide technical support to end-users and optimize the performance of the infrastructure, architecture, cloud (ideally AWS), operating system (Linux) network, etc - Debug and resolve related issues efficiently - Design the infrastructure architecture for business expansion - Take part in configuration, setup, security, troubleshooting, and incident management - Support in automating workflow by scripting Requirements: - 5+ years of experience with a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Leadership experience in a small team - Linux system installation/configuration is a must - Experienced with Scripting (Bash/Python) or Cloud Computing is a plus - Candidates from trading firms/ financial institutions are highly preferred - Fluent in English. BNO visa holders are also very welcome
