About the role: As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting students during this crucial stage of their education. You will work closely with small groups of children, providing boosters and interventions tailored to their individual learning needs, helping them prepare for their SATs, and ensuring they meet their academic goals. Your efforts will be instrumental in assisting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and giving them the tools they need to thrive. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone passionate about making a real difference in a child’s learning journey. The role will require you to work collaboratively with teachers and staff to deliver targeted support and to create a positive and enriching learning environment. Application Requirements: • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting. • Understanding of Key Stage 2 curriculum and interventions. • Experience supporting SEN students (desirable). • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with booster and intervention sessions for KS2 pupils. • Support students in their SATs preparation. • Work one-on-one or with small groups of children to provide targeted support. • Collaborate with class teachers to create tailored learning plans. • Provide support to SEN pupils, ensuring their individual needs are met.
