HGV Technician

Salary 50,000 + Overtime + Benefits

My client is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join their team in Hereford. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy goods vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair various HGV components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
• Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient workshop operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A valid HGV driving license is preferred but not essential.
• A relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) or equivalent experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to providing high-quality workmanship.
