We are in an extremely exciting period of growth, with 270 events planned and 300,000 entrants expected in 2024. This role is an "in-house" role for Sports Media Agency based out of our London office.Job purposeWe are seeking an ambitious and driven individual with a passion for sales and client satisfaction to join a rapidly growing company. You will play a key part in supporting our valued partners who sponsor some of the UK’s leading sporting events. This is dual role of both new business sales and managing existing accounts within the North of England. As a Regional Sales Account Manager, you will be the key link between our company and our partners. Your role will be to support the Head of Partnerships to ensure our partners receive exceptional service and maximise their return on investment. Whilst also having responsibility for growing revenue from existing partners, as well as identifying and securing revenue from new business partners within your defined territory in line with agreed KPI’s. The ideal candidate will be able to foster relationships at all levels of business, applying a driven approach, and possess excellent communication skills along with having a fantastic attention to detail. Developing new and existing relationships and assisting our partners wherever possible.Engaging with new clients to create opportunities to partner and deliver our servicesProviding regular support and advice to each partner to maximise their return on investmentLead hunting, sourcing, and leading on regular online and face to face meetings to provide strategic advice and collate informationCreating resources and technical support to our partners via our in-house CRMEnsuring all partners are fully supported and have a comprehensive understanding of each account’s specific needs, deliverables and current status.Liaise with external teams and suppliers to ensure they are aligned with the partners requirementsKeep up to date tracking of all accounts, reporting on them regularly to make sure all requirements are being metProviding feedback and suggestions to the team on how we can improve our ever-evolving offeringWork closely with the wider partnerships team to support the teams overall aims and objectivesWork collaboratively with other members of the team as and when required.Qualifications and ExperienceIt is essential for you to have the following qualifications and experience:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Commercially driven, with the ability to own the full sales cycle from lead generation through to retention and management of accounts/partners.Proven history of managing partnerships/accounts, fostering a positive relationship at the same time as growing account revenue.Able to stay calm under pressureAble to manage own workload and calendarStrong Organisational skillsCustomer service experienceFlexibility and willingness to travel throughout the UK and work outside of normal working hours (including weekend work) when the occasion demands.
