Maths Teacher

U-Educate working with a secondary school based in Southampton that is looking to appoint a brilliant Maths teacher to join their staffing team. The desired applicant will be enthusiastic, driven, and passionate about teaching. They will be familiar with preparing and delivering engaging lessons and helping to improve attainment. They will also be confident in working with various abilities and adapting their teaching style accordingly. You will be responsible for delivering Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4. Marking will be expected as part of your commitment to this role. What are we looking for? * Confidence, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching * Knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching, learning, and behaviour management strategies and know how to use and adapt them to motivate students. * Excellent subject knowledge * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The successful candidate will have: * Experience of delivering Maths KS3 and KS4 level * Have an up to date DBS with the Update Service/be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS * Be educated to degree level * Hold QTS (or an equivalent qualification) If you feel that this is you, please get in touch ASAP by clicking apply!
