Job Title - Credit Controller (Property Sector)
Location - Manchester
Salary - £30,000

Are you a detail-oriented Credit Controller with experience in the property sector? We are seeking a proactive and organised Credit Controller to join our clients team a leading property management company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of credit control processes across our diverse property portfolio. Key Responsibilities
Managing Accounts Receivable: Monitor and manage rent payments and service charges across our property portfolio, ensuring timely collections. Debt Recovery: Proactively chase overdue payments through phone, email, and written communication, escalating cases when necessary. Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with tenants, landlords, and stakeholders, addressing payment queries and providing excellent customer service. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts, payment trends, and aged debtor analysis to support senior management decision-making. Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, liaising with internal teams and external clients to ensure swift resolutions. Compliance: Ensure all credit control activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, including property laws and rental agreements.
Requirements
Proven experience in credit control, ideally within the property sector Strong understanding of property management processes, including rent collection and service charge procedures. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with property management software (e.g., Qube, MRI, Yardi). High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. What We Offer
