Store Manager | Brockham | Surrey Community Role in Strood Green | Part time 25-30 hours Are you passionate about leading a community-focused shop and café? We’re looking for an energetic and customer-oriented Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of  The Shop & café at Strood Green in Brockham, Surrey, our community shop. What We Offer our Store Manager: Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and contracted hours Hours: 25-30 hours per week, with flexibility to suit the right candidate Benefits: Pension contributions, four weeks of paid holiday, and a friendly community atmosphere About the Role: As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our community-owned shop and café. You’ll lead a dedicated team of part-time staff and volunteers, ensuring we provide excellent service to local residents and visitors alike. This role is central to keeping our much-loved shop a thriving hub for the community. Key Responsibilities of Store Manager: Customer Service: Foster a friendly, welcoming environment, ensuring our product range meets customer needs. Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of part-time staff and volunteers through effective communication, training, and support. Shop Operations: Oversee stock management, order supplies, manage financial targets, and ensure smooth operations. Community Engagement: Work closely with the Management Committee to plan marketing activities, update the website and social media, and ensure ongoing community connection. What We're Looking For in Our Store Manager: Proven retail management or supervisory experience Strong leadership and team management skills Customer-focused mindset and excellent communication A local connection would be highly beneficial, as we need someone nearby to manage the team and day-to-day operations.
