Job title: General Assistant & Kitchen Porter
Salary: 11.44 GBP each per hour + Up to £5k Tronc bonus
Location: Yattendon, near Newbury, Berkshire

Workplace description: This beautiful country pub with rooms is nestled in the picturesque countryside of West Berkshire. Simple, unfussy, Michelin rated food, ten luxurious bedrooms, award winning real ales, roaring log fires and a quite beautiful walled beer garden await, all within easy access of Newbury, Reading, Heathrow and the M4.
Main duties and responsibilities for General Assistant: Duties include around 20 hours per week in housekeeping, with the remaining 20+ hours per week as a Kitchen Porter and other associated tasks as required.
Main duties and responsibilities for Kitchen Porter: The role is one of the most important in our business, as you will be responsible for keeping our busy kitchen clean and equipment organised, working closely with the head chef to maintain standards.
Essential criteria for General Assitant: You will have experience of working in housekeeping as well as in a professional kitchen.
Essential criteria for Kitchen Porter: You will have a passion for the industry and attention to detail. You must also have an excellent attitude and the willingness to learn and be looking to develop your career. The desire to get on in the industry is more important than your previous experience. You need to be a dedicated, punctual, methodical person, who is used to a bit of hard graft! There is stock arriving every day so part of the role will include lifting and carrying, some heavy, some just cumbersome

Charge for the accommodation: 85 GBP per person per week
