Estimator - Soft-Strip Demolition

Their projects span the UK, focusing on redevelopment, refurbishment, and change-of-use. Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our client's Birmingham-based team. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing accurate quotations, ensuring competitive tenders, and building strong client relationships to drive business success. This is a permanent position with a leading national commercial strip-out, demolition, and groundworks contractor . Key Responsibilities : Conduct site visits to prepare accurate quotations. Issue detailed quotations to meet client timescales and requirements. Evaluate and select subcontractors and suppliers, securing quotations as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals. Follow up on tenders and quotations, engaging with clients to secure projects. Prepare and deliver project handovers to Contract Managers prior to commencement. Maintain up-to-date records using company Sales Management Software. Compile accurate invoicing information and prepare applications for payment. Requirements : Previous experience in estimating within the soft-strip demolition or demolition industry. Ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships. Proficient in using estimating and measurement software for accurate take-offs. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer service. A valid UK driving licence is essential.
