Prototype Engineer

Role – Prototype Engineer (Welding / Fabrication OR CNC Machining backgrounds preferred) Salary - £35,000 to £45,000 DoE Location – Cambridge Unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing R&D Hub with lots of career development and progression opportunities. We are looking for strong Workshop Engineers – backgrounds within Welding / Fabrication OR CNC Machining preferred and engineers who want to develop / learn mechanical design. The role itself will give you the opportunity to develop your SolidWorks design skills and build your own prototype – bringing your drawings to life! The ideal person, * Apprentice Trained Mechanical Engineer – desirably to HNC / HND level * Strong background in either Welding / Fabrication OR CNC Machining * Any experience of SolidWorks OR any design projects during education OR apprenticeship (further training will be provided) * Team player with a proactive attitude * Drivers preferred due to site location and Must be eligible to work in the UK This is an opportunity not to be missed!
