Requirements for the Deputy Nurse Manager role:
You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN)
Active NMC PIN
Clear DBS.
Good working knowledge of CQC regulations
Proven track record of leading a Nursing team and delivery of person-centred care, including care planning

The role of a Deputy Nurse Manager within the Nursing Home involves:
Being responsible for the management of the nursing services in liaison with the Home Manager
Promoting and maintaining high standard of nursing care
Ensuring effective induction of new nursing staff and providing ongoing clinical supervision of trained staff
Woking within the NMC and CQC standards, alongside internal policies and procedures
Planning, directing and delivering high quality person-centre care through care planning process
Overseeing all aspects of medicine management ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
Undertaking staff reviews through supervision, appraisals and team meetings
Taking an active role in training the team of nurses to ensure staff are kept up to date with current practices and good practice developments
Maintaining accurate and relevant documentation and reports to reflect practice and planned development
Deputising in the absence of the Home Manager
