PMLD - Lancaster Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties to support a primary school in Lancaster. Although experience working in a school with Special Needs is preferred, any personal or professional experience working with Complex needs is what acually matters. The main priority is caring and nurturing the children. Position Details: Location: Lancaster Role: PMLD Teaching Assistant Hours: 8:30am-4pm (during term time) Start date: Jan 2025 End date: Ongoing Type of work: Temporary Full time/part time: Full time only Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day (dependant on experience)Experience, Training & Qualifications: Any personal or professional experience working with children with complex needs Up to date Safeguarding in the last year (desirable but training can be provided) Have experience working with students in small groups or on a 1-1 basisTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide professional references to cover the past 2 years Committed to meeting our rigorous compliance requirementsIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
