Maintenance Assistant Required (Handyperson) Job Type: Temp to Perm Start date: Immediate Industry: Maintenance Location: Wythenshawe Salary: £12.00 - £13.50 PAYE JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Assistant required for a maintenance company that specialises in commercial maintenance on a large site in Wythenshawe. Our client is looking for reliable Maintenance Assistant to join a large maintenance team. This is long term work for the right person. This role will be a long term ongoing contract with the view to going permanent. 40 hours a week, 8am - 4.30pm, Monday-Friday. Long term, secure work. Weekly pay. Opportunity for overtime paid at x1.5 of normal rate. The ideal candidate will have a roofing background however general building repairs will be considered. Daily responsibilities will include: Basic maintenance repairs throughout commercial building Assisting skilled tradesmen Flagging Undertake general labouring duties as directed by the supervisor General maintenance duties around the site Requirements for the role Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
