Ennismore are opening a progressive and fresh, New York influenced, all day brasserie at The Hoxton, Shoreditch. We are looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead a dynamic team for this exciting new concept. The menu will comfortably straddle both the old and the new - elevating amenu of produce-forward, US-meets-European food with sophistication and sass. Think high low bar snacks, fun takes on classics like surf & turf burgers, French dip sandwiches and nostalgic desserts designed to thrill. The restaurant menu has been created in partnership with an award-winning chef duo from New York famed for their stylish and witty approach to classic American food. The restaurant will be big, busy and focus on volume over fine dining. The bar showcases natural wine from producers around the globe and cocktails are sharp and seductive with playful flavour combinations. What youll do Lead a large and dynamic kitchen team Drive innovation and create a culture of menu development whilst still delivering on the framework of a Hoxton Restaurant menu, with a backbone of simple and classic favourites. Both guest and team experience will be at the heart of all you do. Youll lead your team by example, keeping them involved and motivated; helping them feel empowered and supported, confident in providing top Hox experiences for our guests and comfortable turning to you with questions Have a firm grip on the costs of the restaurant kitchen, from labour through to always striving to find efficient solutions whilst maintaining the quality and integrity of the menu Drive innovation and create a culture of menu development What were looking for 2+ years experience in a similar Head Chef role in a busy, bustling environment with freshness and provenance of ingredients as a key priority Proven track record managing large kitchen teams A true passion for creativity whilst maintaining the integrity of our brand standards through the dishes on the menu A natural at leading and managing others, you lead by example and create an environment where your team can be their best self.
