Estimator - Commercial Fit-out London £80,000 - £95,000 About the company: I'm currently working with a reputable commercial fit-out contractor who specalises in the commercial fit-out and refubrishment sector. My client is an established name who have been in business for over 20 years. Last year this contractor turned over £25m completing projects in a variety of sectors including retail, hospitality, commercial and office spaces with projects ranging from £2m - £10m. About the role: As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction process, working closely with the commercial and project delivery teams to ensure accurate cost estimation and competitive tendering. You’ll be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, reviewing project specifications, and providing financial insights to support the successful execution of projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong industry knowledge to contribute to the success of a dynamic and fast-paced organisation. Rewards and Benefits: * £80,000 - £95,000 + Travel * Hybrid working arrangement * Pension * Healthcare * Montly social events Requirements: * Experience: Proven experience as an Estimator within the commercial fit-out sector, with a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards. * Technical Skills: Proficient in estimation software (such as ConQuest, Causeway, or similar) and strong knowledge of cost planning, tendering, and procurement processes. * Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with current market rates, subcontractor pricing, and supply chain management in the fit-out sector. * Attention to Detail: Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate cost estimations and identification of project risks. * Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams effectively. * Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure. * Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (degree or HNC/HND preferred). * Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment, supporting both pre-construction and project delivery phases
