Job Title: Groundworks Supervisor Job Type: T emp-to-Perm /Direct Perm Location: Norwich Salary: £24.00 - £26.00 Per hour Working Hours : 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join our team on a temp-to-perm /Direct Perm basis, working on a variety of construction projects in Norwich . You will play a critical role in overseeing groundworks operations, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all groundworks activities on-site. Lead and manage groundworks teams, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to specification. Work closely with the site management team to deliver projects within set budgets and timelines. Oversee health and safety compliance on-site, ensuring that all work is conducted safely and in line with company policies. Manage subcontractors and ensure they adhere to project specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure a high standard of workmanship. Provide progress updates and reports to senior management. Requirements: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification – mandatory. First Aid certification – mandatory. CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) card – mandatory. Proven experience in groundworks supervision within the construction industry. Strong understanding of groundworks techniques, equipment, and materials. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Demonstrated ability to manage teams and work collaboratively with site management.
