Job Requirements / Description
FINTEC recruit is recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter, this is a permanent role based near Inverness.
The role offers shift work patterns for day/night with a block of 10 days off and another role for day/back shift with 3 weeks day/1 week back shift.
Salary is dependent on shift rota ranging from £42,000+ up to £46,000+, plus many benefits, 32 days holiday, contributory pension plus more.
The company is offering relocation assistance.
Our client has undertaken substantial upgrades on site over the past 5 years, having won awards over the past 3 years.
Responsibilities:
Installation and commissioning of new equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance and responding to mechanical breakdowns.
Skills and experience required for the Mechanical Fitter role:
Minimum City & Guilds/ONC level education in a mechanical discipline
HNC/D in a mechanical discipline preferred but not essential.
Industrial maintenance experience preferred but not essential.
A strong health and safety awareness and the ability to work unsupervised.
Carrying out Risk Assessments and working with Safe Systems of Work essential
