Job Title: Team Leader - Days
Salary *: £14.15ph Plus Incentives
Hours: Full Time 7am-7pm - 3-4 shifts per week, including alternate weekends plus an on call weekend rota

Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group
A little about Nightingale:
Nightingale Nursing & Care Home is based in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. The home, although purpose-built, has been made very homely, and has a selection of garden areas, in line with Jasmines values and ethos. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents.

Day to Day Responsibilities for Team Leader:
- You will also be responsible for promoting our residents independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing and to give input during shift handovers.
- Leading our team to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing the highest standard of care.
- Supporting our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
- Administering medication.
- Promoting our residents choice, dignity and independence and all times.
Essential Requirements for Team Leader:
- Relevant Professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
- Minimum of one years experience in residential / nursing home setting.
- Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
- Full Driving Licence.
- To ensure knowledge is gained to demonstrate a good understanding of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of the signs of abuse and procedures to follow in the event of an allegation of abuse.
- Satisfactory Care Character Assessment
- Live within 30 minutes of the home.
Preferred Requirements for Team Leader:
- Two years experience in a similar role in a nursing home.
- One years experience working in a similar role in a residential or nursing home; or
- Two years experience in a Senior Care role in a residential or nursing home.
- One year experience of caring for residents living with dementia.
- NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above.
- Experience of managing a team
