Labourer

Job title: Labourer Main purpose: To assist other trades and Supervisors in the completion of various unskilled tasks and activities including the loading and unloading of materials Mon to Thu (Apply online only) Fri, Sat, Sun, (Apply online only) This position is to include 1 weekend in 3 as part of rotating shift pattern Attend site on the first day with protective footwear and all other PPE will be provided 32 days annual holiday. Size and Scope: To undertake all non-trade tasks as required Responsibilities: Assist trades in the completion of their works Assist Supervisors in yards and stores Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy provisions Assist with the completion of contractual obligations in a non-technical capacity To assist in safe keeping, managing and delivery of materials, stores and yards Person requirement: Qualifications: Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card Current UK driving licenseSkills: Interpersonal skills Time management Literacy and numeracy Knowledge and understanding of personal health and safety, method statements and risk assessmentsExperience: Good understanding of building related maintenance Work related experience Personal profile: Behavioural competencies Physically fit, sound hearing and vision Enthusiastic Punctual Conscientious Self-motivated InterpersonalRole specific requirement: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) security clearance and Enhanced DBSPlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
