Sales Engineer

Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Sales Engineer required to join a leading supplier of Electrical / Electronic Industrial Automation products. The successful Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Sales Engineer shall be responsible for technical advice, generating quotations, order processing, expediting, documentation, proposals and other aspects of customer service for electrical / electronic control panel components such as systems, circuit breakers, current transformers, switchgear, circuit protection, industrial connectors, PLC’s, power supplies, and other electrical / electronic related products. The Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Sales Engineer will ideally come from any sales / commercial background associated with engineering. Full training is being provided, however having previously sold an engineering product within electrical / electronic engineering would be beneficial.  Package £28,000 - £32,000 Bonus Company Pension Company benefits Career Progression 25 days holiday including bank holidays Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Sales Engineer Role Responsible for technical advice, generating quotations, order processing, expediting, documentation, proposals and other aspects of customer service for control panel components such as systems, circuit breakers, current transformers, switchgear, circuit protection, industrial connectors, PLC’s, power supplies, and other electrical / electronic related products. Provide technical support and cover to other Sales Engineers and all aspects of Customer services - e.g. order processing, expediting, documentation etc. Learn all aspects of administration which includes order processing, invoicing, checking order confirmations. Product specification plus after sales and service support of electrical and electronic related products on offer. Liaise with various engineering departments. Commutable to the office daily in Leicester  Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Sales Engineer Requirements Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering distributor. Experience in any sales, customer service or technical background associated with engineering. Full training is being provided, however having previously sold an engineering product within Fluid Power, and or valves would be beneficial.  Electrical / Electronic Service Engineers with experience of PLC’s, switchgear, circuit breakers, connectors, transformers, control panels etc looking to progress into a commercial sales role are strongly advised to apply. Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Sales Advisor, or similar customer service position, within mechanical engineering. Technical aptitude and/or understanding of electrical / electronic engineering equipment is advantageous.  Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree in engineering would be beneficial. Must be commutable to the office in Leicester or willing to re locate
