Job Title: Waking Night Residential Support Worker Location: Birkenhead, CH42 Salary: £25,469.34 - £26,768.99 per annum (DOE) Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week) Are you passionate about supporting young people with complex needs? We are looking for a dedicated Waking Night Residential Support Worker to join our team, providing essential care and supervision during the night. Key Responsibilities: Support the individual needs of children/young people as outlined in their care plans. Collaborate with young people, their families, social workers, and other professionals to provide holistic support. Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, procedures, and best practices. Safeguard the safety and welfare of young people, with their well-being as the top priority. Participate in implementing, monitoring, and reviewing care, health, and education plans. Promote a positive and safe environment that supports the social and personal development of young people. What We're Looking For: Understanding of the developmental needs of young people, including physical, emotional, intellectual, and social aspects. Knowledge of Child Protection issues and Social Care Services. Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to demonstrate sensitivity and understanding. Ability to manage emotional stress and remain flexible in challenging situations. Commitment to motivating yourself and others to meet performance goals.
