Technical Support Officer (Electrical)

Circa £45,000 per annum

The Role
As a Technical Support Officer , you'll be key in delivering first-class technical assistance to our clients. You'll be the go-to person for resolving issues and providing expert advice on our range of electrical protection products.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for electrical circuit protection products
Assist customers with product selection, installation, and operation queries
Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to resolve complex technical issues
Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and FAQs
Conduct product training and demonstrations for clients and internal staff
Process technical support requests through various channels (phone, email, and chat) and ensure timely resolution
Stay updated on industry trends, product updates, and technological advancements

The Ideal Candidate:
You are an experienced professional in the electrical industry with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. You will have:
Proven experience in the electrical industry, with a focus on circuit protection
Strong understanding of electrical principles and product functionality
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information
Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
Proficient in using technical support tools and software
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or related fields or previous experience in a technical support or customer service role is preferred .
