Role Overview

As aVehicle Technicianat Saxton 4x4, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our luxury vehicles meet the highest standards ofquality,safety, andperformance. You'll conduct mechanical assessments, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs in line withManufacturer Standardsand our internal protocols. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensivemechanical assessmentson a diverse range of vehicles.
  • Identify and reportvisual defectsand abnormal driving behaviours.
  • Perform high-quality repairs to ensure vehicles areretail-ready.
  • Installaccessories and componentsas specified by the sales team.
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used for warranty compliance.
  • Utilisediagnostic toolsto accurately diagnose faults and recommend effective repair solutions.
  • Ensure workshop equipment is well-maintained by following maintenance schedules and promptly reporting any issues.
  • Keep the workshop tidy and organised to uphold asafe working environment.
  • Deliver all work to the highest standards to ensurecustomer satisfactionand minimise return repairs.

What Were Looking For:

  • Ideally hold anNVQ Level 3in motor vehicle repair orNVQ Level 2qualification.
  • Previous experience in aVehicle TechnicianorMechanicrole.
  • Strong knowledge ofdiagnostic toolsand familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Ability to work bothindependentlyand collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meettight deadlines.
  • Understanding ofManufacturer Standardsrelated to vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • A full,clean UK driving licenceis required.
